Barnstaple Fringe TheatreFest is back from Thursday to Sunday, June 19-22, with 33 new shows to enjoy.
IF you love comedy, serious drama, light-hearted drama, dance, musicals or biting satire then you’ll find something to enjoy when Barnstaple’s Fringe TheatreFest returns next week.
From Thursday, June 19 to Sunday 22 five venues around the town will play host to a huge variety of shows, with 105 performances from 33 different theatre companies as the festival enters its eighth year.
Audiences of all ages can expect everything from a pocket musical on a pre-West End tour to a tailor-made adventure for young people in and around Barnstaple Library.
Many shows will take place at the Queen’s Theatre, which houses three venues - Studio@QT, Gallery@QT and Room at the Top, plus the central theatre box office.

There will also be shows at St Anne’s Arts and Community Centre in Paternoster Row plus the Baptist Hall at the top of Boutport Street.
There will be special productions and events at the library and Barnstaple Museum, while from Wednesday to Friday next week you can enjoy five minute Fringe tasters’ at Barnstaple Coffee Shop to meet performers and find out more of what Fringe TheatreFest has to offer.
