After sell out performances at the 2017 Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the 2018 Brighton Fringe, The OS Map Fan Club heads to Devon between June 28 & 30 at the Baptist Hall to seek new OS fan club members.

Helen Wood is a self-confessed Ordnance Survey enthusiast. In this show she takes a laugh-filled virtual ramble through sheet no. 168.

The performance is an award winning show having secured the Edinburgh Festival Fringe sell-out show laurel in 2017 and the Best Original Act at the Swindon Fringe Festival.

With encouraged audience participation, Helen explores the Wiltshire/Gloucestershire border detailing her own love of the paper foldouts as she goes.

While providing the laughs, Helen's aim is that by the end of the weekend there will be several more card-carrying, badge wearing OS map fanatics.

Independent theatre guide Everything Theatre said: 'The play has everything. Nostalgia, laughs, dread and sexual politics, Even featuring a segment that borders on map-based sexual innuendo, complete with plenty of role-play dotted throughout."

Helen also took her show direct to the Ordnance Survey's headquarters in Southampton. OS cartographer Jim Goldsmith complimented Helen's performance, saying: 'Even if you don't really like maps you will love the OS Map Fan Club. Helen delivers a wonderfully scripted, beautifully researched performance. Her show would win over any paper map critic.'
