North Devon’s otherworld is preparing to surface for one night only, as a village festival celebrates its fifth anniversary.

Fundraising for the renovation of Clovelly Parish Hall, the North Devon Firefly Otherwordly Fayre and Ball will take place on Saturday, July 21.

It will see weird and wonderful figures travel from far and wide for a day of stalls, circus acts, music and workshops.

The Belly Dance Divas will also be on display at the evening ball, where prizes will include Best Dressed Otherworldies and Taking The Piskies starring in the following live concert.

For the first time this year organisers are encouraging visitors to stay in tents or caravans on evenings either side of the day, running from 12 noon until midnight.
