Musical director will be Tom Wakeley and choreography will be by American-born Heather Douglas. Within five days the team will teach the actors to perform a much-loved classic musical, which is then performed to the public on the last day. This exciting week will happen from Monday to Friday, August 20-24, from 9am to 5pm each day. Fame will be open to all boys and girls aged between eight and 18 years old. There are no auditions, it is first come first served, and only a few places remain. The public performances are on the Friday in the Main Hall at The Park Community School at 5.30pm and 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5 for adults and £3 for children and can be purchased at the door before each performance. Tom was most recently conductor on the West End production of Chicago. Other West End credits include shows such as Aspects of Love, Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Phantom of The Opera, Damn Yankees and Miss Saigon. Heather has performed on Broadway in shows such as Little Shop of Horrors, Crazy for You and Into the Woods. On the West End, she has appeared in shows such as Cats, The Producers and Chicago.
