Artist Christine Lovelock stages her Landscape, Hedgerow and Flower Paintings exhibition at Pilton Church Hall on Saturday and Sunday, August 18-19.

BARNSTAPLE artist Christine Lovelock is holding a two day exhibition of her paintings in Pilton Church Hall this Saturday and Sunday.

“There are few places I love more than Manning’s Pit, and the fields by Bradiford Water and Tutshill Woods,” she said.

“Our local landscape is so special that it is a constant source of inspiration, so it seems right to have another exhibition in Pilton Church Hall, within walking distance of the places that I paint most often.

The exhibition entitled ‘Landscape, Hedgerow and Flower Paintings’ runs from 10 am to 5 pm each day.

Two years ago, Christine held a joint Exhibition here with another Pilton artist Tim Saunders, this time she is showing on her own, but once again there will be tea and cakes.

“Last time we had quite a cafe atmosphere,” she said, “and I hope it will be the same again, so that people will enjoy coming in, both to see the paintings and have a chat and a cup of tea.”

More details can be found at and a sneak preview will be online shortly before the exhibition opens. For more information call Christine on 01271 376594.
