The new Wabasso Art Café at Combe Martin seaside has continued a busy first season with the opening of a new autumn exhibition. The gallery at Newberry promenade overlooking the sea is currently showcasing the work of around 20 local and international artists, covering a variety of mediums. These include paintings, jewellery, crafts silk paintings and glass. Owner Miranda Wrycroft said since opening in May things had gone very well, with good numbers of visitors. We have the terrace overlooking the sea and it gives people something interesting to look at as well as being able to have a drink, she said. The gallery is open from 11am to 5pm Tuesdays to Sundays, or visit Wabasso Art Cafe on Facebook.
