POPULAR comedy MC Roisin Conaty returns to First Friday Comedy at The George Hotel, South Molton with a new line-up on May 7.

Over the last decade, Rob Heeney has established a reputation as one of the top comics working the UK circuit today.

His style is a blend of bitterness, playfulness and cynicism wrapped up in a blanket of charm.

Originating from Douglas, Isle of Man, where he was born one Christmas Eve, you'd think this qualified chemical physicist, trained systems analyst, former taxi driver and international table Tennis player would be able to draw on these amazing experiences. He cannot.

Rob has appeared regularly at The Comedy Store, Jongleurs, The Glee, Up the Creek.

He also appears as part of the Paramount Comedy on Tap tour of the country's universities each year.

Following a commission writing for Radio Two's The Day The Music Died, Rob enjoyed a stint presenting the breakfast show on Reading's 2Ten FM, before joining Heart, where he has spent the past two years writing Jamie Theakston's Breakfast Show - winning a Sony Silver Award into the bargain.

He has also recently guested on BBC Five Live's Fighting Talk. The Isle of Man Examiner declares him 'The island's no.1 export (apart from Kippers)'

Australian comedian Benny Boot is young and sickeningly talented. Benny has played all over Australia and recently moved to London to perform.

His skills as a comic are ever improving and he is fast making a name for himself on the London comedy circuit.

Last September Benny was invited to the Vancouver Comedy festival. His fast paced, surreal, off beat comedy keeps the laughter rolling through the entire show.
