The main event on the field will be the popular family dog show, for every dog from pedigree to family pooch. The opening ceremony will be carried out by local district councillor Walter White. Outside in the marquee will be various stalls including toys, raffles and cakes. There will also be music, barbecue, tea and cakes. On the playing field will be childrens activities including face paint, and the popular snail race will take place again this year. In the hall there will be the usual vegetable, flower and produce categories and organiser Crystal Andrews is hoping for some late rain to help boost the entries. Refreshments are also served in the hall. Entry for adults is only £1 and children get to visit this traditional village fete for free.
