Charlie is one of the UKs most respected singer-songwriters and will be sharing songs from her new album Dark Matter. She will be teaming up with her long-standing friend, multi-instrumentalist Julian Littman of Steeleye Span. The evening promises a fast moving show as the pair swap guitars, piano, mandolin, harmonium, ukulele and autoharp as well as stories, banter and versions of songs shes written for others. Charlie has roots in Devon as her family on her fathers side, the Maunds, have for three generations run The Exe Valley Fishery. A generation further back, she discovered her great grandmother Eleanora Maund was a suffragette, and is mentioned as refusing to sign the national census until women were given the vote.
