Join highly acclaimed singer songwriter Ben Maggs at The Plough Arts Centre on Sunday (September 24)

Rising singer songwriter Ben Maggs been hailed as 'mesmerising' and 'awe-inspiring' is playing at The Plough Arts Centre in Torrington on Sunday (September 24).

Ben opened for Leo Sayer at RHS Rosemoor in May and is headlining his own gig at The Plough this weekend.

It was originally scheduled as a 'gallery gig' but demand was so high it has now been moved into the main theatre.

Ben has been headlining all over the UK, supporting The Proclaimers, The Christians and Leo Sayer's UK Tour.

The talented troubadour has been hailed by critics, with praise including 'enchanting', 'mesmerising', 'crackling with creativity; outstanding' and 'magnificent'.

Inspired by wild nature, human nature and the nature of love, Ben creates tapestries with the colourful threads of his 'stunningly beautiful vocals', melodies and poetic lyrics, all wrapped in the warmth of artfully played acoustic guitar.
