Low Tide Theory are jetting off to Lille this April for the iSynth Festival.

BISHOPS Tawton band Low Tide Theory are set to play the high profile iSynth Festival in France this April.

The North Devon band are preparing for their first international gig after being asked to play at one of the key electronic music festivals in Lille on April 26.

Now in its second year, the festival also features synth bands Tenek, Northern Kind, Spacebuoy and Shiny Darkness.

Low Tide Theory is Johnnie Campbell on vocals and keys, Paul Robinson on keys and guitar, plus Chris Gooderham on bass guitar. Band influences include OMD, New Order, Pet Shop Boys, The Stranglers, Tears For Fears and many more.

The trio have received some strong acclaim at home and abroad since the release of their debut album Big Sky in April last year.

Their singles have received radio air time on many stations including BBC 6 Music, XFM and various BBC local stations.
