Catch the Martin Harley Band in Torrington on Saturday, July 28.

A quality slice of Americana is being served up at The Plough in Torrington tomorrow (Saturday, July 28) by a band BBC Radio Two’s Johnnie Walker described simply as ‘awesome’.

The Martin Harley Band will be familiar to many in North Devon and Martin himself has played more than one gig at pub venues to the delight of new fans.

With a wealth of experience, superb musicianship and gift for captivating an audience with vivid lyrics and melodies, a Martin Harley Band gig should prove memorable.

Slide guitar, lap steel, it’s all there and this is definitely a chunk of ‘British Americana’ that roots fans will want to experience.

The Plough gig starts at 8pm and the band is supported by Cornish folk outfit Kola, rapidly establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with.
