FOR one day the work of only 50 Devon artists and makers will be on display under one roof as the popular Art Bazaar returns to South Molton Assembly Rooms on Friday, November 26.

“I have been over-whelmed by the response from artists wanting to be part of this annual event, some have even put their names down to take part in next year’s Art Bazaar!” said organiser Stella Levy.

“Its success goes from strength to strength, supported by a fantastic public, wanting to come along on the day to see and buy the latest work being produced by the best artists in the region.”

Throughout the event South Molton children’s book writer and illustrator, Claire Barker plus writer Paddy King-Fretts, will be on hand and happy to sign their latest books.

Amongst the artists taking part are well known local names including painters Colin Allbrook, Robbin Wiggins and Ken Hildrew plus potter Clare Sykes and ceramicist Roger Cockram.

There will be original prints from Judith Westcott; jewellery from Domonique Toucheteau. Other names include North Devon bronze maker Dinsdale Petch, glass jeweller Karen Wicks, textile artist Kath Kingdom, wood turner Sandra Adams and raku ceramicist Tim Smith.

There is free public admission from 12 noon until 8.30pm and refreshments will be provided by South Molton Community Woodland Group.
