With more magic than you could shake an old lamp at, panto has returned to Pilton after three years away. From Thursday to Saturday, February 18-20, Pilton Theatre Productions will be presenting its traditional pantomime Aladdin at the Church Hall. There are 7.30pm performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, plus a 2.30pm Saturday matinee. The panto tradition had taken a break in the village, but new director Lee Smith has now taken over the job following the death of Hamish Patrick in 2014. The cast is also hosting a special performance on the Wednesday for children, parents and teachers from Pathfield School, Welland House and Lampard Community School. Tickets available from The Reform Inn and Helen on 01271 379120 or Carol on 01271 372416.
