Swimbridge House Nursing Home is looking ahead to a busy 2022 and remains committed to offering the level of care that we would all want our own loved ones to receive.
As well helping our residents to live as independently as possible, we put on numerous events which offer stimulation for them, as we realise that social interaction is very important for maintaining a good quality of life.
We began 2022 with a bit of new year fun, writing our resolutions and having a party to celebrate. Plenty more activities are already being planned for this coming year.
Swimbridge House Nursing Home would like to take this opportunity to wish its residents, their families and friends, our amazing staff and the local community a wonderful start to 2022 and we look forward to welcoming you.
The home is dedicated to ensuring that our residents are able to enjoy social occasions, as part of providing a high level of care for them in a caring environment.
There were many exciting events in 2021 here at the home, despite the Covid-19 restrictions.
These included lots of fun-filled games, frequent sing-along sessions, and plenty of cooking, making and arts and crafts activities.
These events have been really enjoyed by our residents and given them the chance to enjoy a range of diverse activities.
Last year, during the festive season, we made Christmas decorations and cards and sang carols, followed by mulled wine, mince pies and cakes.
Our Swimbridge Friends knitted beautiful advent angels to decorate our Christmas trees and were out in the home’s van ‘Ernie’ seeing all the amazing Christmas lights.
On Christmas Day we opened all our presents, had a glass of sherry, and pulled a Christmas cracker with our delicious dinner.
The home also has a Facebook page to share information about the many activities taking place - please like and follow us (search for Swimbridge House Nursing Home).
