ORGANISERS of the Joma 2010 South West Challenge Cup say that the stage is set for the best tournament yet.

With less than a week to go before kick-off, a massive team effort has ensured all the preparations are in place for visiting teams and fans.

They estimate that some 240 management, players and support staff will be heading to North Devon ahead of Monday's opening round of fixtures, which include a Sports Ground clash between Bideford and Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League side Kilmarnock. In other games on Monday, Barnstaple will play npower Championship club Doncaster Rovers, while Ilfracombe entertain League One side Shrewsbury Town.
