YOUNG North Devon surfers have gone to Spain for warm-water training as they prepare to defend their national schools title.The five-strong Groms team from Braunton School, all also members of the Croyde Surf Club, are taking part in training with Spanish surfers with financial support from the Youth Opportunities Fund.When Beau Bromham,14, Laura Crane,13, Lucy Campbell,12, Maisie Lawton,13, and Zac Lawton,15, return at the end of next week they will be straight into the British Schools contest, which has been won by Braunton for the past four years.
