A trip south for Steve Found saw him smash the opposition and a club record during Bideford Angling Clubs 24 hour rover at the weekend. Steves trip to a certain beach produced a stunning undulate ray of 18lb 12 ounces or 125 per cent. Second went to Nathan Clements with a rockling of 1lb 5 ¾ oz while Dick Talbot was close behind with another slug of 1lb 5 1\/4oz. Stafford Moor saw a hard week of cold water and high pressure for its October Festival 2015. Despite the conditions Scott Purdy was a clear winner with a total bag weight of 237lb 9oz, followed by Ricky Johnston with 212lb 10oz and Tom Mangnall with 193lb 14oz. Out on the lakes, Julie Carnell caught her UK personal best with a 29lb 4oz carp from the beach swim on Beaties. Her friend Chris Waring managed another of 24lb 7oz on the same swim. Both ladies visited the lakes with their husbands, Adrian and Jeff. Meanwhile, Roman Kumeiga also caught a 23lb carp from the summerhouse swim on Beatties, one of seven good fish in a 48-hour session.
