TORRINGTON'S basement battle at Falmouth ended in a 9-9 draw.

Playing with the wind in the first half, Torrington had a penalty goal on the board by the 15th minute, kicked by fly-half Andy Manning.

The only further score of the half came from home full-back Jack Brown, who kicked a penalty in turn to level it 3-3.

Torrington now looked to have a better structure and shape and Falmouth were perhaps lucky in the end to manage a draw.

Brown and Manning traded successful second penalties, and 10 minutes from the final whistle, home fly-half Matt Horton slotted his side's third penalty.

Manning hit back with his third goal and it was all square once more.

Torrington entertain Teignmouth this Saturday.
