GREAT Torrington School table tennis team of Dominic Sussex, Ben Taylor, Dale Stevens and Tom Ward won the Devon Schools under-16 tournament and now progress to the area stage of the national competition.In the North Devon League, Division 1 leaders Smugglers suffered a 6-4 setback at the hands of nearest rivals Sussex Smashers, but remain front runners. Big wins for Artics and Adjudicators keep them handily placed, should the leaders falter.Rowdies have taken over the top spot in Division 2 despite being held to a draw by Littleham, with former leaders Herons having no game.Big movers this week were Sweenies, who secured second place with an 8-2 victory over Holsworthy B.
