TORRINGTON moved level on points with South Molton in the Devon One play-off place with a narrow 6-3 win over their nearest neighbours.The Torrie defence had to withstand South Molton pressure in the first-half. Flanker Mike Wigley's try-saving tackles kept out the home attackers.Just before half time Torrie took the lead with a drop-goal from centre Craig Hooper.South Molton came back with fly-half Adam Crispin bringing it level on the stroke of time.In the second half the home side scarcely entered the Torrington 22 with Manning's kicks keeping his side on the attack.Manning was rewarded with the match-winning penalty 10 minutes from time.South Molton are away to Tamar Saracens this Saturday.
