IAN Roberts hit a century to set Braunton up for a six-wicket win over South Devon, who failed to defend a total of 233 for five.South Devon skipper Henry Burningham won't have been too unhappy with the form of is frontline batters as Chris Metters made 66 and Rizwan Saeed had 60. Burningham chipped in with 54.The best of the stands was the one between Saeed and Metters of 110 for the fourth wicket.Andy Paddison picked up three wickets at a price - 78 runs - while Colin Hack bowled 14 tidy overs for just 35 runs.South Devon must have felt it was going to be their day after slowing Braunton to 97 for four in reply - Saeed taking two for 48,But Burningham didn't have the firepower to remove Ian Roberts or Barney Huxtable, who knocked the rest of without mishap.Roberts was exactly 100 not out and Huxtable unbeaten on 75 when the winning post was passed.Braunton visit Bovey Tracey this Saturday.
