North Devon Netball League round-up

Most teams have passed the half-way point of the summer league, with Titans Voyagers reversing the scoreline from their last meeting with Blue Oasis and taking a one-goal victory in Division Two.

Similarly, in Division Three Carol Anne Emeralds lost to Reeds Silverside by four last time they met but secured a four point win this week with Naomi Williams and Kim Alexander both influential in their attacking line-up.

Heather Lane and Cheryl Little led Carol Anne Trolls to their first summer victory as they defeated Venners Bakery Vipers 22-20. They have suffered a number close defeats but this week they stayed strong to the final whistle to ensure they took the points. Trolls could not maintain this as Titans Neptune edged passed them to win 29-25 with great dodging by Lauren Bawden.

In Division Three Reeds Silverside fell to a 24-20 defeat at the hands of Carol Anne Emeralds, but secured victory against Titans Pluto.

Langtree Re-Unites Rhinos and Bude Rockets suffered their first defeats in Divisions Five and Six at the hands of Venners Misfits and Georgeham Rocks respectively. Lisa Cetinkaya netted 3 and 4 pointers to keep Misfits' score ticking over and Gemma Adams dominated for Georgeham.
