The Titans lost to Raychem in their latest fixture – despite an earlier win in the season bringing hope they could defeat them.

The Titans lost to Raychem in their latest fixture – despite an earlier win in the season bringing hope they could defeat them.

In the first quarter, Titans started slow and enabled Raychem to build a six-goal lead. At the end of the first quarter the score was 15-9 to Raychem.

Beth Nancekivell made an impact and applied pressure to Raychem’s attack – earning her player of the match from both teams.

In the second quarter, Titans started to catch up, but then let it slip and at half-time the score was 28-21 to Raychem.

By the third quarter Titans were still trying to catch up, but the shots were not sinking and Raychem barely missed.

At the end of the quarter the score was 40-31 to Raychem.

Titans managed to win the last quarter but couldn’t quite defeat Raychem, who won 50-44.

Titans’ next match is on February 7 against local rivals Carol Anne (West Buckland).
