The Titans lost to Raychem in their latest fixture despite an earlier win in the season bringing hope they could defeat them. In the first quarter, Titans started slow and enabled Raychem to build a six-goal lead. At the end of the first quarter the score was 15-9 to Raychem. Beth Nancekivell made an impact and applied pressure to Raychems attack earning her player of the match from both teams. In the second quarter, Titans started to catch up, but then let it slip and at half-time the score was 28-21 to Raychem. By the third quarter Titans were still trying to catch up, but the shots were not sinking and Raychem barely missed. At the end of the quarter the score was 40-31 to Raychem. Titans managed to win the last quarter but couldnt quite defeat Raychem, who won 50-44. Titans next match is on February 7 against local rivals Carol Anne (West Buckland).
