North Devon made it three Division One wins from three outings this season as they inflicted a second defeat in six games on Halberton with a 110-run home victory over the Mid Devon side.
Max Curtis was the start of the show with a superb 102.
The best of the support came from Jason Smith and Jack Hocking who hit 38 and 36 respectively as the Instow side closed on 242-6.
Fergus O’Donnell (3-18), Casey Elliot (2-10) and Luke Ansell (2-28) then combined to bundle Halberton out for 132.
Belstone continued their perfect start to the term in Division 2 and left Beaford beaten for the second successive game this fledgling season thanks to an emphatic eight wicket home success.
Harry Bushin claimed a four wicket haul as Beaford were restricted to 141-9. That was not enough to unsettle Belstone, who were led to a comfortable victory by Scott Tremain with a half century.
There was a Division 3 turn-up at Bideford.
Top of the table Ilfracombe lost for the first time while Bideford claimed their first victory.
Fred King (59) and Josh Weeks (47) were the principle run providers in a home total of 289-8.
Jason Newman bagged three wickets for 57 runs for Ilfracombe, who were then bowled out for 159, Dan Brierley striking a magnificent 85 to register more than half of their total.
Josh King claimed 4-29 for Bideford.
There was a thrilling game played out at Filleigh II, where Bratton Fleming won by four wickets.
John Harrison, batting at number seven, top scored with an unbeaten 62 for Filleigh, while Jonathan Ralph chipped in with 58.
But Bratton Fleming timed the chase to perfection to get home with four wickets in hand on 213-6.
