BIDEFORD U15s’ off-loading, support play and pace eventually told in a 38-5 win over a determined Okehampton side.
Bideford played well in the first half withgreat interplay between backs and forwards resulting in tries from Josh Lindo, Micheal Smith, and Sean Pett.
Okehampton pressured the Bideford line but were unable to break their defence.
Bideford started slowly in the second half and poor decision making put them on the backfoot.
Bideford regained their composure and scored tries through Michael Smith, Joe Ashton-Burke and Seb Sanders. Billy Cockwill kicked four of the six conversions.
Okehampton never gave up and were rewarded with a well earned try late in the game.
BARUM U16s played a combined South Molton-Bideford team in a friendly which they won 51-0.
