MANY Tarka Tennis Centre juniors have spent the summer playing tournaments around the country and even overseas, with success. Mathew Morrish won two U12 Grade 3 events at Missenden and Torquay and was runner up at Tarka s junior event. He qualified for

MANY Tarka Tennis Centre juniors have spent the summer playing tournaments around the country and even overseas, with success.

Mathew Morrish won two U12 Grade 3 events at Missenden and Torquay and was runner up at Tarka's junior event. He qualified for the U12 Junior National, in which he lost in the second round to the number 5 seed. He is now ranked in the top 20 in the country for his age group.

Emerson Styles won the Tarka Junior Grade 3 and the Devon County Closed U14 singles. He is currently No 1 Devon U14 a year young.

Lewie Parker won Grade 3 doubles events at Penzance and Devon County Closed and also played in France, where he came runner up in a junior tournament.

Other wins have come from: Nathan Woo (Red) Tarka Grade 3; Will Morrish (Red) runner up Devon County Closed; Emma Featherstone (Orange) won at Exeter and runner up at Tarka Grade 3; Daniel Oliviera (Orange) won Exeter singles; Bradley Philips (Green) won North Devon Closed U10 & U12; Sam Roberts - won North Devon Closed U14 & U16; Jemma Sloman won Ifracombe U14 singles; Beth Adamson won North Devon Closed U14 singles; Sunny Parker won North Devon Closed Ladies singles.
