There was no score in the first half, then the visitors changed up a gear after the break with the forwards in command to take a try from full back Neil Ayre.

Dan Smith added a second for the visitors with scrum-half Jamie Stoneman potting the extras.

Topsham were still in it as prop Tim Nash pulled back a try, but Smith grabbed a late one for South Molton.

Molton host unbeaten leaders Totnes this Saturday. Ilfracombe face a tough one a home to Honiton.
