Somerset cricketing legends will be among the players at a charity Twenty/20 festival to be played at Westward Ho! on August Bank Holiday Monday.The festival will feature teams from Victoria Park in Bideford, Taunton St Andrews, captained by former Somerset all-rounder Keith Parsons, and hosts Bideford Cricket Club.It will raise funds for the Children's Hospice South West.This follows the successful Twenty/20 match last August between Bideford CC and a Somerset X1 in aid of the Marcus Trescothick benefit fund. The match and a fund raising dinner together raised more than £5,000, which was shared between the Trescothick fund and the Children's Hospice South West.The festival will be officially launched at the children's hospice on May 22 when Bideford club chairman Brian Champion will make a presentation to hospice chief executive Eddie FarwellThere will be three matches on festival day, starting at 10am.
