TWENTY-nine riders from Bideford Bombers BMX Club raced at the second South West regional event of the season at Tiverton on Sunday.

Becca Gohl took part in her first regional expert race in the Cruiser 40+ ladies and gained a tremendous first place.

There was also a triumphant result for Darren Phipps, who finished first in the B final of the 40+ Cruiser.

Micheal Smart gained second in the Elite men’s A final.

Adam Bell rode his first regional race and came 8th in the 7-9 years Novice C final while Jack Grantham gained 3rd in the C final.

John Ashman also competed in his first regional and came 4th in the 13-15 yrs Novice.

The Bombers meet again at Tredigar Wales next weekend for the third regional round.
