Tarka’s Everyone for Tennis (EFT) programme saw 1,200 school children play tennis for free at their schools, with 105 of them then going on to receive more coaching at Tarka through June and July.

There are some more EFT courses available for juniors from September.

And Westward Ho! Tennis Club is welcoming the community to come and join in another ‘Play Tennis for Free’ afternoon at its new courts in Caddsdown, Bideford this Saturday from 1pm to 4pm.

From 1pm to 1.45pm there will be a cardio tennis session for those wanting a good work-out, concentrating in particular on skills and agility-related to tennis.
