THERE were close matches in Division 2 of the North Devon Netball League this week, not least between Panthers and Langtree Re-Unites Rogues, who finished with just one goal between them.

Shooter Tamara Catling and defender Bryony Porter matched up well to take the honours, but it was Panthers’ Tamara Catling who gave her team the edge.

Only four goals separated Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks and Bude Stars. Bude’s Lillie Latter was great in the mid-court, but well timed interceptions by Mary Foster from Woolacombe Bay enabled her team to take the victory.

Pat Williams continued their rise up the Division 1 table following a dominating display of shooting by Jen Law and Ali Brown against Titans Voyager.

Carol Anne Rubies still strive for the Division 3 title with a 37-27 defeat of fellow title contenders Reeds Silverside.

Titans Pluto have secured the Division 4 title and showed their style as they defeated South Molton Eagles 48-9. Amy Johnstone was intrumental in their match.

Venners Bakery Pythons confirmed second place with a convincing victory over Carol Anne Opals, with great movement by Zoe Whiteley.
