South West One: Bideford 32-7 Wells

Bideford are up to fifth in the South West One table following a comprehensive 32-7 win over visiting Wells.

Ollie Wickett kicked Bideford ahead with a penalty, only for Wells to shoot back with a Tom Payne try.

That was as good as it got for Wells as Bideford regained the lead with a drive over try by George Snell and by half time were 22-7 up.

Richard Norman got a try, Dean Folland got one more and Wickett kicked two conversions.

Bideford went down to 13 men in the second half as Norman then Pat Sanders were banished to the sin bin. Even then Wells were kept at bay.

Snell’s second try brought up the bonus point, then Chris Snell got a fifth as Biddy finished with a flourish.
