Bradninch totalled 251 for eight thanks to contributions from Tim Piper (65), skipper Ross Acton (61) and Haydn Murray (28) All three fell to Matt Westaway (4-60)

Acton was seventh out at 218 - Rob Gear (2-88) bagged him - leaving Matt Jarrett (12) and Nick Dean (11no) to bring up the rear.

North Devon started badly - they were 18 for three after early problems against the Actons - Ross (3-89) and Eliot (1-16) - then fought back through Dan Bowser (81) and Mike Hedden (48) in a stand of 119. Jamie Overton (44) and Gear (38) put on 57.

The chase went to the wire, with 11 needed to win off the last two overs and three men left. Murray (2-44) got Westaway out, Gear was removed by Gary Chappell with three balls left and Paul Heard run out off the penultimate ball to give Bradninch victory.
