Ilfracombe and Libbaton golfers will never miss ‘tee-time’ again

Two North Devon golfers will have no excuse for missing their ‘tee-time’ after winning a limited-edition BOSS watch for achieving a hole-in-one.

John Crompton, 69, scored his ace on the 135-yard, par-three 11th at Libbaton Golf Club, and the 16-handicapper was rewarded with membership of the BOSS Watches H1Club and a specially-commissioned, commemorative timepiece.

Meanwhile, Kit Leck, 64, scored his ace on the 75-yard, par-three fourth at Ilfracombe GC, and the 13-handicapper wins the same award.

The luxury German brand has once again pledged to reward club golfers with an exclusive watch for every hole-in-one recorded during a club competition in 2015.

It is open to any golfer whose club uses HowDidiDo – a free, web-based social network – and anybody playing in official club competitions is eligible. Currently, more than 1,800 clubs use the website.
