Ilfracombe reached 240 in reply, but made a game of it in the final overs as John Bates smashed 89. The visitors were 130 short with nine overs left, with Bates smashing five fours and eight sixes to keep the game a contest into the final over. Martin Stewart was the pick of the Bideford bowlers, taking three wickets for 28 runs. Beaford got up and running in Division Two with a 31-run win over Sandford.Barnstaple and Pilton's second XI were 51-run winners over Braunton Kelseymen in Division Three.
