NORTH Devon 2nd XI handed out a seven-wicket hiding to their Plymouth counterparts at Mount Wise.

Plymouth got to 52 for two thanks to Ben Ferero (22) and Harry Stephenson (23), then caved in to 95 all out.

Max Curtis did the damage with six for 38 while Sam Witheridge (3-26) mopped up at the other end.

Ollie Hunt (42) gave North Devon a flying start in reply. Charlie Hill, Jack Hughes and Harry Kandampully took a wicket each for Plymouth, before Warren Miller (11no) joined Richard Screech to knock off the remainder.

North Devon are at home to Cornwood this Saturday.

BIDEFORD 2nd XI took a tumble against visiting Brixham, who won by 75 runs at Westward Ho!

Adam Edwards (53) and Rhys Dallow (50no) both made half-centuries, and there was a near miss for Tim Robinson (48) in Brixham's total of 229 for six.

Elliot Binns (62) did as well as anyone for Bideford, but a seven-wicket spell from Matt Parsons (7-41) sent the home side spinning to 154 all out.

AXMINSTER III could only muster eight players for the trip to Westeleigh to face North Devon III, where they were bowled out for 55, passed for the loss of one wicket by the hosts. Tom Stanton struck 27 in the successful run chase.
