THE future of Great Britain's show jumping appears to be in safe hands after West Buckland School student Emma May followed in her brother Steven's footsteps by winning a silver medal for the national team at the David Broome Event Centre, Chepstow. Emma, 15 and Steven, 13 were both competing for the senior team after their success in the junior side. Emma and her new ride Making Faces jumped clear to reach the final and only lost out to a quicker time. Steven also competed well after his gold and bronze medal winning performances at his last event. But the luck went against Steven this time and he clocked up four faults and failed to reach the final.
