Bideford Rifle Club members picked up some good results and placings in Round 3 of the individual leagues, including three first places and three second places.

In the Hendon Leagues, Alex Lane is well ahead in Division 2 of the air pistol league, both on aggregate score and match points. His score of 267 in Round 3 gave him five match points and a total of 787 and 15 match points after three rounds.

Neil Rudkin’s score of 181 keeps him top of Division 5 in the bench rest league, while Keith Kersey is in second place in Division 3 after his excellent 196 in this round and Dave Morgan’s 184 puts him in third place in Division 2.

Juniors Alex Surgeon and James Quy are shooting in their first competitions in the air rifle bench rest league. Alex has a total of 584 from three rounds and James is on 500.

In the Cumbria Leagues, Sarah Pile easily leads Division 11 of the long range prone league, with 185 in Round 3 giving her six match points and an overall total of 552 scored and 18 match points. Keith Travis lies fourth in Division 7 of the same league.

Carrie Hoile is now in fourth place in the sport rifle league after scoring 79 on her Round 3 card and in the bench rest league Dave Morgan and Neil Rudkin lie in runners-up spots in Division 3 and 8 respectively.
