Bucknell is taking the new role of director of rugby which means finding a new coach as he doesnt fancy both jobs. With one team or another I have been coaching for the last six years and that is a big commitment, said Bucknell. I wont miss having to be there for training twice a week as well as matches every Saturday. As director of rugby I will still be heavily involved, without the huge commitment of three times a week taking its toll. My first job is to find a new coach - I do have someone in mind - and my next priority is to get the colts going again. A lot of our first team have come through the colts and for a club like ours that has to be the way ahead. There is a big turnover of players at 16, 17, 18 and we havent been able to keep the colts going this year. That needs to change. Bodmin led 14-7 at half time against Molton last Satuday and did enough in the second half to win 17-12. George Jones slid over in the first half for Molton with Ben Smart converting. Courtenay Lucas added a second, but the conversion to level the scores went astray. Molton finish their season with a trip to Bude this Saturday afternoon.
