A YOUNG Bideford Ladies FC player is setting her sights on a dream FA Women's Premier League National Division debut next season.Octavia "Ocky" Saunders has made just a handful of appearances for the Robins after turning 16 this season; but with a place already assured at Bristol Academy - and a final round trial at current national champions Arsenal Ladies to look forward to tomorrow (Thursday) - she looks to be well on course to reach the very top of the English game.Octavia, who lives in Westward Ho!, is currently studying for her GCSEs at Bideford College.She said she was excited about the prospect of playing Premier League football next season: "My aim has always been to play women's football at the highest level possible," she said."I'm very excited at already being accepted at the Bristol Women's Football Academy and my upcoming trial at Arsenal Ladies Football Academy, both of which can give me the opportunity to in the future play in the National Premier League."Mum, Vanessa, who is a former player and manager of Bideford Ladies, and the club's current chairman, said her daughter had been playing football since she was a toddler."Ocky's been playing football since she was old enough to kick a ball," she told the Gazette."She's always wanted to play football and has been on the books at Plymouth Argyle since she was just nine years old."She'll get the chance to play at the highest level next season while studying for her A-Levels." She added.
