Ann-Marie Heatherson and Nicola Cousins presented trophies to finalists on Saturday
Two of Yeovil Town Ladies’ Women’s Super League Two winning squad cast their eyes over the next generation of girls footballers in North Devon Saturday.
Ann-Marie Heatherson and Nicola Cousins were special guests at the North Devon girls’ finals day at Sandymere.
With the Women’s Super League Two trophy in tow, the players presented trophies to the winners and runners up of the U12 and U14 finals before posing for photos with the young players.
The U14 cup final was won by Barnstaple, who beat Bideford 5-3 to claim the trophy, while the plate competition saw Crediton beat Fremington 8-3.
In the U12 cup final, goals from Lexus Dryden, Poppy Chapman and Aleisha Hooper gave SAS a 4-2 win over Ilfracombe.
The plate final saw Crediton claim another trophy, beating Bideford 9-0.
After Saturday’s presentation, Cousins and Heatherson both featured for Yeovil in Sunday’s 5-1 defeat to Arsenal.
