The Braunton Cup final will be between Wrey Arms and Fremington.

A brace of goals each by Andy King and Luke Rigler gave Fremington a 4-1 semi-final win over Pilton Academicals.

The Intermediate One champions are now continuing their successful season with three cup finals to come – the league cup on Saturday, followed by the Hansen Cup on May 6 and then the Braunton Cup.

Wrey fell 2-1 behind in their semi-final to Braunton Reserves before pulling back to win their first Braunton Cup final place with a 4-2 win.

Dave Mason opened the scoring for Braunton after five minutes. Lee Capner struck back with a 25 yard free kick on 25 minutes and the game looked deadlocked, before Marc Churchill headed through his own goal to restore the Braunton lead. Churchill then made up for his mistake, levelling again for Wrey from the penalty spot.

Wrey lost leading goalscorer Simon Larcombe after just 15 minutes of the tie, but 16-year-old Callum Goss came on and stole the show with the winner for the Wrey, before Lee Capner scored his second direct from the corner.
