WREY Arms have clinched their first Wrey Arms Sunday League Division 2 title following a convincing win against Yam Yamz.Their 4-1 result, with goals by Lee Holding, Martin Goodliffe,Shane King and man of the match Simon Ovey, maintains a 10-match unbeaten record.Yam Yamz stay equal second on points with Wpd - who suffered a surprise 4-2 reverse as Kings Arms gained only their second win of the season. In a game of three penalties, Kings went ahead in the fifth minute with a penalty by Steve Seatherton. Paul Jones slid in a second and Simon Loosemore then hit a lob from the half-way line which scraped the bottom of the crossbar and into the WPD net. WPD came back with a penalty right on half-time to make it 3-1 and closed the gap further with another spotkick on 70 minutes.But Kings were not to be denied and Chris Menday made the game safe .Division 1 games saw leaders Bratton Fleming in another goal feast, winning 11-3 at home to Taw, but second-placed Dynamo Yamz are still on their tails following a 2-0 win over the Police.
