Sporting Barum clinched their second trophy in less than two weeks on Saturday, beating Braunton Thirds 4-0 in the Arlington Cup final at Ilfracombes Marlborough Park.Goals from Marcus Mahoney, Matt Deakin and two for Richard Eaton sealed Barums win in extra time. In a cagey opening half, it was Brauntons Toby Bennett who had the best opportunity. After 90 minutes, the game was still goalless despite chances for both sides. Substitute and eventual man-of-the-match Eaton opened the scoring with a low shot before the end of the first half in extra time. Eatons goal opened the floodgates for another three before the final whistle. Mahoney got Barums second, firing into the net after a lay-off from Deakin before Eaton grabbed his second goal. Deakin wrapped up the win for Barum when he poked in after a huge goal kick from Connor Davies.
