Putford Reserves won their top-of-the-table clash away to divisional leaders Barnstaple FC Reserves by a convincing 3-0 and are now just two points behind them.

But for three earlier lost points for a mistake in filling in a team sheet the win would have taken Putford to the top.

Arlo Reddick struck twice for Putford and an own goal completed the scoreline.

Braunton 4ths maintained their place in the top three with a 2-0 win away to Woolsery Reserves while Northam Lions 3rds stay close behind them following their 3-1 win at home to South Molton Reserves.

Goals from Sean Wenham, Mark Hallett and James Atkinson gave the Lions their win, with Toby Lockhead replying for Molton.

Georgeham Reserves remain on the edge of the leading group with games in hand following their comprehensive 5-0 win over Hartland, who sit just above them.

After a goalless opening half Georgeham took advantage of the wind behind them in the second half to blow their opponents away with goals by Dale Sawyer (2), Nick Shilleto (2) and Matt Edwards.

Anchor Chiefs Reserves hit bottom club Lynton and Lynmouth Reserves 3-0 with a hat-trick by Shayne Voisey, including one from the penalty spot.

Buckland Brewer came through by the odd goal of seven in a close encounter with Fremington Reserves,

Buckland started brightly but did not convert their chances and after 25 mins found themselves 2-0 down. But Simon Adams fired home from the penalty spot and a powerful Sean Freeman header put them back level at the break.

Buckland took the lead on the hour with a well taken goal by Tom Gladwin, only to be pegged back by a 20 yard Fremington free kick. With the game looking destined for a draw, Steve Eggleton stepped up with a great finish to steal the win with 10 minutes to go. There was some outstanding saves from Buckland’s new keeper Joe Ogijewicz on his debut.

North Molton 3rds took an early 2-0 lead at home to Pilton Academicals Reserves and held on to win despite a second half fight back which brought the Accies back to 2-1.
