Devon FA is bringing its referee training course back to North Devon in a bid to bring more officials into the game.

The six-session course is being held at Braunton FC, with the first part taking place on Monday from 6pm.

The North Devon Football League is once again offering its assistance in covering the cost of the course, with referees completing the course able to referee in the league.

The three-hour sessions take place every Monday and Wednesday for three weeks, and is led by Jason Haywood, Devon Fa’s referee development officer.

The course is designed for anyone from the age of 14 who wants to join the tens of thousands of referees who operate each week through the English football pyramid.
