Only two North Devon Premier games survived the weather on Saturday as Storm Callum swept across the region.

Fremington’s game against Ilfracombe Town Reserves went ahead, with Fremmy enjoying a 5-1 win over the Bluebirds at Beechfield Road.

There were two goals apiece for Kobe Bryant and Will Jones and Simon Larcombe also scored in the win. Ollie Coles scored for Ilfracombe.

The other Premier match-up was between Braunton and Hartland Clovelly, where the Seasiders came out on top to pick up their second win of the season.

Peter Stapley scored both of Braunton’s goals in a 2-1 win, with Tom Davey scoring for the visitors.


With Devon Senior Cup matches taking priority, only two games were scheduled in the Senior, but both Barnstaple FC’s game against Shamwickshire Rovers Reserves and Ilfracombe Town Thirds’ match with Appledore Reserves were called off.

Intermediate One

High Bickington are still looking for their first points of the season in Intermediate One after a 4-1 defeat at home to Putford.

Simon Grigg, Sean Freeman and two own goals did the damage, with Freeman and Arran Brooks both sent off as the visitors finished with nine men.

Intermediate Two

Equalizers moved up to fourth with a 5-1 defeat of Bridgerule Reserves at Tarka Tennis Centre in Intermediate Two on Saturday.

Two goals each for Steven Isaac and Kyle Jones, as well as one for Steve Windsor ensured the hosts took all three points. Alex Parker scored the consolation goal for the visitors.

After losing their first four games, Torridgeside Thirds made it back-to-back wins with a 3-2 victory over Woolacombe.

Jack Magarotto, Arlo Reddick and Rob Ellis scored for T-Side.

Intermediate Three

Kingsley Wizards got the better of their namesakes in Intermediate Three, beating Kingsley Park 3-0.

Lewis Allen, Rob Crump and Steven Ronald scored the goals for Park in the win.

Shebbear United put four past Eastside, with two goals each for Charles Harding and Toby Skinner giving the hosts all three points.

Hartland Clovelly Thirds left Bradworthy Reserves still looking for their first points after beating them 4-2.

Byron Day-Rogers got two goals in the win, with Spencer David and Paul Parker also netting.

Thomas Melville and Connor Edworthy scored for Bradworthy.

Colin Woodcock scored twice for Combe Martin Reserves as they beat Park Rangers 2-1. Jesse Curtis scored for the hosts.
