A TOUGH away trip to Liverton was the test for Georgeham and Croyde Ladies, but a superb first half display laid the foundations for a comprehensive 6-0 victory and sealed second place in Devon Women's League Division 1.Using attack as the best form of defence, the visitors unnerved Liverton from the start.After 15 minutes of pressure Keely Druce beat two defenders to score the opening goal. Midfield playmaker Jodie Dixon added a second five minutes later and striker Donna Adams struck a sweet volley to make it 3-0.Druce added her second on the half hour and completed a hat trick before the break. The second half was not as exciting, with Zara Turner's strike from 10 yards on the hour the only addition.Holsworthy lost 4-2 at home by unbeaten Premier Division leaders Exmouth Town, but maintain third place. Margaret Brimicombe and Vicky Pett were their scorers.Torridgeside dipped 6-1 away to Okehampton Argyle in Div 2. Melissa Andrews scored their goal.
